You can join the tour on our comfortable cruising vessel at Paihia or Russell.

Discover the spectacular scenery of this New Zealand paradise and learn about the areas rich culture and history with full commentary from our local skipper. When conditions permit, get up close to the dramatic cliffs at Cape Brett and travel through the iconic Hole in the Rock on Motukokako.
Encounter diverse wildlife in their natural surroundings and keep an eye out for dolphins, whales, birdlife and seals during your cruise.
Your trip will also include a stop at Otehei Bay on the Department of Conservations Urupukapuka Island. You will have time to explore the island, swim at the sandy bay and enjoy a delicious Island Buffet Lunch at Otehei Bay Cafe & Bar with a selection of meats and salads*

- Island Buffet Lunch is included from 1 December 2024 onwards and is subject to minimum numbers. A lunch voucher for Otehei Bay will be provided if buffet is not available.

Is it safe to travel through the Hole in the Rock?
It sure is, but only when weather conditions permit. We always practice caution when travelling through the Hole in the Rock and the decision to travel through is made by our skipper on the day based on conditions.
What should I bring on the cruise?
A warm jacket, Flat soled shoes, Camera, Towel, Swimwear, Hat
Is the cruise ever cancelled due to bad weather?
This is very unlikely as we are sailing in the sheltered waters of the harbour, but safety is paramount and the skipper will cancel the cruise in extreme circumstances. A full refund or an alternative sailing date will be given though.
When does the lunch tour start?
This tour begins operating in December 2024.
